U.I.O.G.D.Yesterday was a great day. It was Feast of Sto. Nino de Praga held at my High School Alma Mater (Colegio de San Beda). I got to do a quick tour of my former school that I last saw back in 1993. Imagine, more than a decade of not having seen the campus!?!? The minute I set foot at the main gate, I just felt like I entered a warpzone and saw myself in high school all over again.********************I decided to give myself a self paced tour of the place and found myself ending in the covered courts watching a basketball game. It was nice to see how the covered courts evolved from concrete flooring to polyurethane floors and yes, way improved shower rooms. Lucky kids I might say as we didn't have those facililties back then, considering that our tuition fees were already considered exhorbitant at that time.Anyway, Mark was the first person who I got to see yesterday. I must admit that he was cute as he had always been (he doesn't know that I had a crush on him). What makes him more remarkable is that he is smart and got personality. Definitely, he wasn't a wallflower in our batch. Amazing as I got to see some other batchmates as well. One even complimented me on how I hardly changed (It was a definite compliment). The coolest thing I heard yesterday was that I had an outrageously funny character than was honest and one was of the more remembered people in my batch. (okay, the last statement was something I just added) But I would definitely say we all had character and managed to evolve to someone better.Mark Parlade, Jonathan Jumig, Marvin Saluta, Teejay Gonzales, Ailo Torres, Al Piezas, Peter Dizon were the few people of my batchmates that I saw and got to hang out with.I attended the procession and wimped out halfway through when the drizzle almost turned to heavy downpour so we snacked at Max's at the turnpike. Afterwards, we went back and joined the high mass celebration that was highlighted by a superb fireworks display afterwards. It was a perfect reunion. I can't wait for the next happening/get together of our batch.********************We saw the movie A Night At The Museum. It was a good movie. Even better, I managed to make eye contact with some guys as well. :)********************Music: Sweet LoveArtist: KaskadeAlbum: Here And Now

Interestingly Odd
So this morning, whilst shopping @ my favourite place (M&S G4), one of the chap I met online called me out of nowhere and struck a random conversation.
I was caught offguard as his voice was very pleasant to the ear (sexy actually). I tried to recall what he looked like, but I don't have any vivid recollection of his facial features. We'll see where this goes.As for my other crush, I hope to see him later at Jam class. It'll be a clash of hot dance moves! Ha!*********************On my way to work early this evening, I was stuck in the Nichols Toll gate traffic. When I looked to my left, I caught sight of this strikingly gorgeous lad driving a 2006 Honda Civic with another hunk seated by the passenger side. Too bad, their lane was faster, thus he was gone in a minute.*********************I am so eager to see some of my old classmates in San Beda for the frolics 2007 affair this coming Sunday. I haven't been to the school for almost a decade. I'm pretty sure that it has evolved. As for Mark, I'm so thankful for his kindness as he'll be there to show me around and keep me company. I really love that guy as he was one of those few straight people I met and knew in high school that never had qualms about my sexuality. Thank heavens for intelligent people!*********************Music: Mesmerized (Freemasons Remix)Artist: Faith EvansAlbum: The First Lady

Happy Moments Indeed there are moments in our lives when even in the darkest and gloomiest of days, a little ray of sunlight pierces through. That happened to me last Saturday, and I can definitely say that that one short moment of conversation has somewheat made me feel good. Looking at the eyes of someone you've admired for so long, and having him on front of you, talking, is possibly one of those moments you'd like to time to stand still. I was bold enough to ask him if I could add to my friendster. He did give it a go. I guess, its really good to know that comic books and anime can still be a bridge to get to know someone. ***************** I got my credit card bill this morning and I was ready to faint. Honestly, I know that it was my fault on not being able to control my spending habits. So as part of my goal to financial freedom, I will be doing a balance transfer of my existing debt, and will not be using my card for a while (indefinite). So, it will be a big challenge for me not to shop relentlessly, and learn to BUY ONLY WHAT I NEED AND CAN AFFORD. Besides, I need to start saving for my Boracay trip this coming April. BUDGET AND SPEND WISELY! ****************** Music: And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going Artist: Jennifer Holiday

Sweet Lemoning & Sour GrapingFriday morning! I finally got my dream volleyball shoes at 70% off. Damn. It was one of the best buys EVER! Tin2x also got to buy a new pair of shoes for her table tennis gig. Both of us wore a smile from ear to ear after shopping.******************The audit/review week has finally passed. Alas! Things can go back to "normal."******************Played volleyball after my Friday shift and I completely sucked. I was adjusting to the new pair of Mizuno shoes I got. And to make things worse, I was sooooooooooooooooo out of shape. I couldn't jump, I was sluggish. The only thing I made up for were my serves. This calls for more practise, more intensity with working out and lose weight. *******************At Body Jam last Saturday, I made friends/acquaintances with one of the Body Jam regulars. I must admit that I've always had a crush on him. He is/was from Sykes and is a comic book aficionado. Too bad he's a bit too scrawny, nevetheless, it was nice that I finally got a chance to strike a conversation with him and his friend too. So, I pushed my luck further today by requesting to have me added to their friendster buddy list. GL! I'm looking forward to seeing him again in one of the future Jam classes. *SPARKLE!*********************I opened my hotmail account today and found a disappointing email from one of my recent job interviews. I wasn't accepted. I feel a bit disappointed, but somehow not demotivated. Let's try and try until we die errr I meant succeed.********************Music: Nothing Left To SayArtist: Late Night Alumni"There's only so much you can learn in one place. Audi THow I wish this topic was about the Audi TT roadster, but it ain't. This week was our team's systems review/audit. I must say that preparing for this alone is not a herculean task, but more of an endless loop. It is just common that processess will always be refined, redone and revalidated. *sigh* So much for change being the only constant thing in this world.********************My job interview last Monday with Convergys went well. After my conversation with the recruitment officer, I felt that I gave my all and I'll just have to wait and see if they would decided to have me on board their team. The account they're eyeing me for is Sales. I honestly have no experience with Sales, but definitely am open to learning new skills from this field. To this writing, I haven't heard from the recruitment officer of Convergys. In line with this, I haven't heard from Accenture as well. Its been months since they contacted me.Well, I'm still applying with other solutions centre. Let's see if I'm still marketable. :)********************I got this text message from a good friend of mine, and it was quoted from Spongebob Squarepants. "Love is like handing someone a gun; having them point it at your heart, and trusting them to never pull the trigger."Somehow this anecdote hit me. In our lives, we entrust our hearts to people whom we've fallen in love with. And it is with that trust that hurts our hearts the most when things don't work out.I've said that I'm putting love on the side right now. I'm after my family's welfare and happiness. I'm not vying for martyrdom. I decided for myself that since I can't find love, I might as well focus on other things in my life.Career? Let's see where the wind will take me.Travel? Oh definitely. Take me there.********************Music: PatienceArtist: Take That (Yes! They're back!)

Exploration
The past week has been horribly taxing physically and mentally. Thank heavens for the leave conversion. Financially, last week was a happy one. I managed to buy all of the things I needed to get. Though, I made a new list for 2007, there's no shopping indulgence for the coming weeks as the 2006 list is all crossed out. :)
****************
I have a job interview later and I'm looking to see what the other solutions centre has to offer in terms of job satisfaction and compensation. ****************Funny that last night when I took a second look at our taxi driver, he was indeed good looking. Too bad, he was married.****************Music: Nothing In This WorldArtist: Paris HiltonAlbum: Paris

Wind.Another Monday and the weather outside seems nice. Sligthly cool and overcast grey skies makes one feel a bit in the blues.******************I got this forwarded text message via mobile weeks ago, but it left a very deep impression that would make you really feel empowered. Please read through:Smile at insults,Laugh away anger,Pay back aarrogance with humilityand your sould will forever be at peace...Remember,No one can hurt you without your consent. When I read it repeatedly, it sinks into me and makes me feel so good about myself.******************I had to reschedule my interview today to next Monday as I was unprepared. Definitely I'll be more prepared by next week. I'm also hoping to hear from Accenture.******************Music: Come Rain, Come ShineArtist: Jenn CunetaAlbum: Club Myx

Something New For 2007Going around the mall brings out the inner child brat in me; wishing that I can buy all of the stuff I see. So after attending 2 group ex classes at Fitness First Wynsum + 1 hr strength training, I met up with my dear Florence for late lunch. Our rendezvous was at Krocodile Gril @ Shang. Having walked from Emerald ave to Shang, taking a seat was something I looked forward to. When she walked in the the resto, I noticed something very different with her. I asked her if she did something and she just smiled. Well, whatever she did it definitely brought about a new glow from her.*************Traffic going home was hellish tonight. It seemed that all roads led to SM Mall of Asia for the Pyrolympics 2007. I wanted to go, but with that kind of traffic, I am sooooo not encouraged. So, I just decided to go home and spend a restful evening home (I'm also financially drained, so not going out saved me money tonight).Tomorrow, I will go around Makati and start checking out items on sale. I could definitely start buying things for my Boracay trip whilst they're cheap. Before Florence and I parted, we went around for nice fragrances that we could buy. My favourite Lacoste Essentials is still on top of my list. Vera Wang pour homme was nice, but very expensive. I also tried the Marc Jacobs scent. At first, I didn't like it because of the coconut-ish essence. However, whilst we were shopping around, I sniffed the scent and it turned out really nice, but quickly faded.Ooooh!!! I also saw this really really nice pair of shoes in M&S. I also like the Skechers black pair. I love them. Now to plan on buying them...*************Music: Taken InArtist: Mike and the Mechanics

Another Suitcase, Another HallToday, I got a call from another solutions centre and am scheduled for an interview on Monday @ 10am. The position if for Ops Manager. Ready? Let's see.****************This new year, I've got big plans to become debt free. I'm paying off my credit card so that I can pursue bigger plans for my life. I'm hoping all goes well with my financial standing. A little help from above would definitely be welcomed.****************Travel plans are on the table left and right. As early as now, people have been planning out of town trips. As for me, my priority is to get into shape for Boracay this coming April. That would be secondary to my plans of gaining financial freedom and my two other resolutions. Ambitious plans aren't they? I think not. Settin high goals to achieve only pushes me to strive harder. I'm sure, things will get pretty exciting this year (hopefully nothing too dramatic!).****************Music: Here I AmArtist: Kaskade

It Is 2007. A New Ballgame.A new year has begun. I am pretty sure that new challenges and experiences lie ahead. But before I indulge myself into this whole new arena, I am taking this opportunity to thank all of those people who shaped my 2006 into what it was. I'm so grateful for ALL of the experiences both good and the not so good. Te not so good made me get in touch with life in the REAL world. I'm thankful to those who trusted me with their in helping me shape theirs. Those who pushed me to my limits, I appreciate the experience, it has made me become more in touched of the painful truths of life; that not everything is something I can control. There are things in this life I cannot just maipulate to my own weaving. With that, I have to simple aspirations this year:1. Learn to swim.2. Learn to drive. As for my career plans, I will be taking more bolder steps outside my comfort zone. Let's see how far I'll go. ;)Again, the game has begun, so don't get left behind. Play BALL!!!******************Music: Face The Music (Kaskade Club Mix Edit)Artist: Conjure One ft. Tiff Lacey
