Heroes And Then Some
So August 21 was declared as a special holiday in Manila in commemoration of late senator Benigno Aquino's assasination.
The lot sees him as a hero. Me, I just saw him as a another politician in the circus maximus of politics. When he was killed, I think I was either in Grade 4 or 5. Ha! At that time, I was completely unaware of the world of government (even if it was a subject in school) and the life that evolved around in the colourful existence of politics.

Sheila and I watched My Super Ex-Girlfriend last night and found it to be very hilarious. A bit demented, but still managed to be very entertaining.
After the movies, we grabbed some hot drinks at CBTL Gb3. As usual, there was a abundance if really good looking guys who liked guys. :) Hehehehe. I was kinda envious on being not part of their clique. However, I have a great set of friends and family. That alone is a great plus!
I know he's out there. Just a sign to find him...or for him to find me. :)

Payday Heyday Mayday!So last Sunday, we had an awesome time @ Jay's. It was nice to see the second family I've come to know having fun together. These gatherings are becoming less and less as we all have our own lives to live. The rain was pouring like crazy and yet we were all there having good fun, good food and great company. Nothing beats spending time with friends you've shared almost your entire guts with. We were hoping to see more peeps, but a only a few managed to turn out.Funny that I got home at around 4am. It was all worth it.*Giggle* It was nice to see Rey again. I have to admit he is good looking, but he's not my type nor am I his. It was great to be flirting with someone whom you know you're good friends with. Funny, I did think that he was kinda homophobic, but I could be wrong.Ha! I've also announced that evening on the Boracay 2007 in April. Lots of interested peeps!!! Well, I hope this year more parties would be happening whilst we're there. Fabbie! Just Fabbie!So yesterday morning, I got this very unusual call coming from a telemarketer for New World Reanaissance Hotel in Makati. It was quite fun to discover that I can have tonnes of things to plan for this coming holiday season.Technically, she was asking me to become one of the founding members of their privilege club. I agreed flat out, but told her that I will be less financially restricted come September. The club benefits that laid out was very tempting. Had I been of id personality, I'm pretty sure that I've buried myself more in debt. :) The great thing about this club is that I am looking to use the privies for the holidays. I'd really love to spend either Christmas or New Year at a hotel for a change. Nothing superfluous, just pure luxury and laid back time off.I'm looking forward for the slight financial freedom that's coming up. :)In the meantime, here's a picture of moi whilst at our team's stragetgic planning in Laguna last weekend. Monsoon SeasonAugust finally cometh. Lotsa things happening this month.I turned 5 years with Macromedia - Adobe today, August 6, 2006. To date, only Jules and I are left with the team that has changed a lot of people's lives. I'm old. There are more things to come in my life. I'm hoping and praying that I get to find the next step that I've been looking to take. Mum and Jay adds another year to their wonderful lives. These two special people have always been there for me. One at home and the other my second home. I pray that the Man upstairs give these two important people in my life their hopes and aspirations. I'm pretty sure that HE is listening. Thank you!We just had our Management strat planning and it was very much of an eye opener. I've gained new friends and new perspective on the industry. There are a lot of things to learn in this industry that most people have come to belittle. The big plus was that Team PATO, which I named and helped lead, won the first place among 5 teams. This was a very big opportunity for me to prove my leadership skills and at the same time learn from my peers who are also managers.In less than a month, the Sport festival will be launched.
