Post middle earth living
After seeing LOTR 3, it seems that there are still many things to be done even if we've reached the end of the journey. I've learned plenty of virtues and morals from the movie itself. Some may depict the Christian way of life, other's would be simple and basic natural law. Obviously, the movie was enshrouded with fantasy and magic, yet amidst all that fancy, the essence of the storyline surfaces without too much effort.
Charmaine will be loaning the book to me so I could look further in the details the movie excluded.
So, it was fun that the movie group had a chance to reunite once more. Not everyone was there, but it was good that eight of us managed to have a good time. We had dinner at Bubba Gump, and most important of all...we had desserts at Max Brenner's Chocolate Bar. The food was good. The company was better. Simple times like last night were something I've always wanted. Back in my college days, I would've craved to stay longer and exagerate on what other things we could do until the sun rises.
Many events are now left behind. I turned down a job offer. Now, I'm given the task of rating the people I work with in my team. I am pretty sure some of them would be hesitant of what I have to say, but they don't have any other choice. I'm here to do my job and I will deliver
what is expected of me. I can't wait for this month to be over.
Stress.
The beach is already calling out my name. And that reminds me, that I HAVE TO GET IN SHAPE! I recall seeing M's body pictures, and I must admit that I am envious of people who manage to stay in great shape inspite of their difficult schedule. Only shows, not everyone is built equal.
Still have money problems. Haven't bought any studd that would be significant for this year. I could use some break with the financial dealings. God bless us this year. We really need it a whole lot.

A blessing in disguise?
Friday, marks the last day of Len in the office. It also marks the last day of the offer she made to me. Honestly, since from the start I was half-hearted about leaving my current job. I think I am making the best decision after considering all factors including my current financial
status.
My manager talked to me about it. She was confident in me, knowing that I wouldn't be easily persuaded even if her name was used. I did tell her that it is not my style to leave things unfinished. I will move on, but I promised to make sure that I have a replacement.
On the lighter side of things, I'm excited that we'll be able to watch The Lord of the Rings 3 on Sunday. I have made ticket reservations for the said screening, and am really looking forward to the conclusion to this wonderful story. I think the priest was right when he said that the
movie captured the audience not just out of its story and effects, but also of the lessons that can be learned from it all. Hope is indeed an overrated feeling for most, but as long as we have it, there is always a chance.
After the screening, we'll be having a fun dinner where everyone could at least enjoy the food. I'd think that we'll end up dining at Bubba Gump or anywhere so long as the food is comfy.
It is a time to be thankful for all the graces and blessing I've received. From good friends, good health and fortune. Even though there was a slight mishap with our paycheques being taken back from us, I would still say that it is something we have to be thankful for.
One more day at work. And alas! 'tis the weekend.

Opportunities and Costs
So it's been a while since I last jotted down something. Damn, PC got a virus. I was too lazy to manually write something down in the journal Thina and Rachel gave me. Anyway, I spent the weekend mostly out of the house, so there really wasn't much time for it.
A lot of things happened over the weekend. Saturday, I was at Lee's baby shower and it felt so good to be there. My gift is obviously missing, but it will follow soon. I has a great time. Good food, good company and most of all simple conversations.
Sunday was a much anticipated event. I was really looking forward to seeing Sandee and Cher. Its been a long time since I last saw them both. I was somewhat surprised to see the Cher had shrunk (for lack of a better adjective). She looked more frail physically, but emotionally, she looks very happy. Sandee is a very nice person to be with. I see him to be very sincere with his intentions with Cher. Something very hard to find with men nowadays. I'd say Cher got the best pick in the Orange orchard. Eitherway, I had a great evening with the couple. I'd see that my friendship will them is beyond work. Its gone deeper and has been rooted into something with a more solid foundation. I was quite disappointed that Johanna couldn't join. Her dad wanted her to come home early, but honestly, I am sure she could've really joined if she wanted. A priest once said that if a person wants something, He'll do everything he could to attain it. On the other hand, if he doesn't like something, he'll have a reason for everything.
Today was quite a good day. It was a bit overwhelmingly busy, but we managed to pull through.
Len was back. I would be lying if I I said I didn't miss her one bit. What caught me offguard was when she made an offer that sparked my interest. She did notice that I wasn't all that ecstatic about the new job. I frankly told her that I am a person who would make sure everything is properly transitioned before I go. Plus, I owe it to Jay to make a graceful and proper exit. I just told Len that I am interested. Jay is aware of my plans to leave the company and look for further growth. I am happy that an opportunity like this comes along. For now, I am not yet panicking on what decision to make. Given that this would be something quick, my decision for this should be very smart. It would be weighing in the risks and comforts. I know that there's a bigger chance for me if I move on, but what holds me back is how proper will my exit be.
I'm pretty sure I will be able to make a good decision on this matter by Friday. Heaven and the higher powers help me in making it the right one.

Jupiter
This song has such sensual lyrics. It has been lingering in my mind for the longest time. I'm not sure why. Perhaps because it proves how pasty my sex life and love life is.
Jupiter
Jewel
Venus de Milo in her half-baked shell
Understood the nature of love very well
She said, "A good love is delicious, you can't get enough
too soon.
It makes you so crazy you want to
swallow the moon."
Oh, oh Jupiter
Oh, oh be still my little heart
Oh, oh love is a flame neither timid nor tame
Take these start from my crown
Let the years fall down
Lay me out in firelight
Let my skin feel the night
Fasten me to your side
Say it will be soon
You make me so crazy, baby
Could swallow the moon
My hands are two transvelers they've crossed oceans and
lands
yet they are too small on the continent of your skin
Wandering, wandering I could spend my life
Traveling the length of your body each night
Oh, oh Jupiter
Oh, oh be still my little heart
Oh, oh love is a flame neither timid nor tame
Take these start from my crown
Let the years fall down
Lay me out in firelight
let my skin feel the night
Fasten me to your side
And say it will be soon
You make me so crazy, baby
Could swallow the moon
Swallow the moon
Swallow the moon
Swallow the moon

Wedding plans and its hazardous efffects
IT was a blissful evening, but everything was ruined after my mum threw me a question if what she did was wrong.
Sigh. Everything was BS. Things went out of control when mum sought Jerome's assistance to write a letter to the Abbott of St. Bede. Well, I think both sides had their own mistakes. Joel should've clearly told mum of his intentions and could've been more curt in telling mum of what he thought. As for mum, she refuses to admit that she made a mistake. The fact is even if her intentions were good, all she could've done was to make sure that she informed Joel first that she would be asking someone else's assistance to write the letter.
I think that there's going to be more senseless emotional scarring that will take place as the plot thickens. Weddings can be amusing. They bring out the different characters in most people. Honestly, I am quite indifferent to the whole dealings. I am really happy for them, but I'd rather be a mere witness than indulge in the messy dealings.
I'm off. Caio.

First day at work 2004
Monday and everything was dandy. So far, things went on as usual. Work has become a tamed horse. I truly think I can allot more time for self betterment.
I feel that Kim gave me a great idea regarding my intent to move out of the country. According to her, I should be very wise in doing this. Since I am planning a trip to the US, I might as well hold it back and make sure I focus on getting employment overseas before pleasure. At least once I'm there,I would be more free to do what I need to do.
Ultimately, Money is the problem. If it weren't for that, I'd have been there the longest time.
Let's take one step at a time. Pretty sure, I'll make it there.

Feliz Año Nuevo
Alas! It is already 2004. 2003 is just another memory to reminisce. One more year to add to our life as mortals here in this living planet.
I'm looking forward to everything good and not so good this year has to bring.
Our family started the year with a luncheon held at our place. Minimal visitors. Aunt Z, Lola Prima and Lolo Soseng. Of course, Trixie was here to celebrate with us. As usual, I crossed the year spending time in the office. I'm used to it. I'm okay.
This was a very special lunch indeed. Joel and Patricia made an announcement that almost made me spray my drink. They made it public that the couple is getting married. Date is on September 21, 2004. Church will be at the Benedictine Abbey Church. It was a good thing I was
standing up when they said this. It was good news indeed, but if I was sitting down, I'm pretty sure I would've fallen off my chair.
So, I had to give them a moment of bliss. I see them both relieved of announcing their plans to the family. I see that they are happy about the soon to be endeavour. I wish them all the best.
Everything was okay, but I should have seen it coming. Out of nowhere, I was asked the question of WHERE IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!?!?! I was just stumped, and honestly my tongue just folded making me feel that I was about to choke!
The perfect excuse I could only come up with was, "excuse me, I need to rush to the bathroom."
As soon as I got in the lavatory, I was looking staring at the vanity mirror trying to digest everything that had just taken place. The question on when will I tell my family about my sexuality just popped up. Good Lord! All of a sudden, I seem to be caught in a very problematic
situation. I really need think about telling my sexual orientation to my family. Opening up to them would be the only solution. I am getting tired of lying to them or even changing the subject whenever the topic is brought up.
I despise this feeling of anxiety. I know I shouldn't let this bother me, but I know somehow this is something I should contemplate and plan well on disclosing. Well, as the cliché saying goes, "No pain, no gain!" I just have to get through this.
Anyway, this is all for now. I need to ready myself for a dinner date with a close friend of mine. Oh, an achievement I've done on New Year's day was not to smoke. I thought I should start the year right and give a shot on quitting smoking permanently.
Ciao!
