OktoberfestIt is already the last week of October. So far, thing were pretty quiet. Dead silence so to speak. So far, my legal counsel has helped me alot in facing this ordeal. I'm also thankful that my AM and co-TMs have been very supportive of me. I just hope and pray that this will be settled in a very smooth and acceptable manner.As for her, I have been praying really hard for her enlightenment. I hope that she stops spreading rumours because it is showing how much attention is badly needed. I pray that one day you'd be enlightened in seeing that there's more to life than being a scandal monger.**************80s music is making its way back to the dance floor with a hint of HOUSE. Its really cool that we get to see a different side of these songs. Some were badly done, whilst others just kick ass.************** JJ is growing his hair long. I hope not as long as mine. It's Over
So yesterday, the vollleyball team had two last games for the sportsfest. It was disheartening to experience a default as we lacked one (1) girl to complete the team. It was nice of our Cap One friends to have agreed to wait for our player. However, the referees had other things on their minds. Thus, our first game was fortfieted yesterday. :(
This kinda opened the chance for us to just practise and enjoy. Our team managed to play good against Cap Onein the practise games. We probably had a chance to steal a set, but as I said, its over.
So instead, we had to focus on a happier side of things. It was Thet's birthday. Janice was so nice to have bought a cake for Thet (which reminds me, I have to give my share later). Whilst Les was on the bleachers talking to some of her friends, we were preparing the cake and candles. I'm glad though that she was surprised of the whole gig. :) Happy Birthday Thet!!! I hope you have a wonderful and healthy year ahead of you!
Afterwards, we prepared ourselves for the second game. Unfortunately, their team lacked another player. I'm telling you!!! It was a day of defaulted games!!! *sigh* It would've been better if people just played even if they knew they weren't going to the next round. Its the principle of it!!!
Anyway, so yesterday marked the last day my knee pads will be used. I'll probably have to wait for another year not unless we get to have a mini league. I hope we get to set up that one. Its a great way of destressing ourselves from work. At the same time, it helps keep us fit. In the evening, we had dinner at Big Buddha in GB3. It was a perfectly simple dinner as I was hungry after all the games. We also set to see the film The Departed. It was funny because it made me reminisce my times in Boston. I MISS BOSTON!!! I'd love to be there again. The accent and all that...its just something I really miss.We also had coffee at the usual spot...CBTL GB3. Benneth caught me exchanging smiles with another chap. I wanted to pursue a conversation, but he was with someone and I didn't want to risk any possible unecessary aggressive conversation.Probably, next time I need to be more cheerful and less apprehensive.*****************Music: Can't Read Your Mind

Traveling Without MovingSo things are getting much brighter. I got a great legal counsel by my side. My co-officers are set to support me. Its all good. I'm so thankful to the MAN upstairs and Mary for lending an ear to my plea.Thank you. I know this is not yet over, but I can see that things are going to get better. ******************We've got two upcoming games on Sunday which are killers. I hope we win. Prayers and HopesFirst, I would like to ask for my dear friends to pray hard and pray fervently. I'm under a lot of stress lately and could possibly mean my job. Its hard that when you try to do things to help someone become, and the tables are turned. Words are twisted and good intentions are shoved into your face. Then it hits me. There's a lesson to all of this. The hardships we go through in life may be painful and bitter, but this is supposed to make us stronger. At first, I was heartbroken, frustrated and crying about everything. I asked myself why did I have to go through all this. I realised that going through this trial is a way for me to wake up to the real world. That not everything goes as planned, but there are things, actions and most of all, people who would help along the way.I am extremely grateful for all of my peers and those people who trust me. I guess I may have done something good after all.I pray for the person who persecutes me, that enlightenment comes to you. My family prays hard and fervently for everything to go well. I wish we all learn from this experience. And most important of all...we all need to move on. Pick up the pieces and bring it all together. Carry on and live our lives to its fullest.PEACE to you all.****************I was watching HBO and caught the movie Cinderella Story. It was quite a fantasy, but it definitely has a real side into it. My prince charming is out there somewhere. VYesterday was our 5th game for bracket B. It was a double cliffhanger because we thought we were about to lose via forfiet due to lack of players. Thank heavens to Mario and Jey! I also am so thankful to Pio, Janice, Thet, Tasaki for being there yesterday. Special thanks to Cherrie, Thal, Meng and Benneth who came to give us moral support. The second was when we took the 1st set of the game. We tried to keep up the spirit during the second and the final set, but unfortunately, we were just too tired. Yet, yesterday was one of our finest games. Our best was still against Emerson. :) We're heading back to the practise courts this coming Friday. We may not be able to reach the quarterfinals, but we will still do our best and give everything.Note: To those who committed to this team and yet hardly participates, I pray for your enlightenment.******************New friend. And so the epic continues. I got to get more info about JP as we chatted after the game. He had an infatuation for one of the ladies in the Vball team, but I didn't mean to break his heart to tell him that he was barking up the wrong tree. Anyways, its always nice to have new friends. I can tell that he plays mind games. Saying "I like all beautiful people" is both a hint and a caution sign. So, I am trying to see if this lad is playing mind games. Else, I'll just play along. I just hope that he can be more tidy. I'm not a fan of slobby men even if he is very good looking. Okay, I lied. I mean, tidy up a little and perhaps you'd get more quality attention. :)*******************New family. As always, during volleyball games, the sisterhood of Gs merge and talk about two things. Volleyball and men. It was quite hard to focus as both things were happening at the same time. I'm quite happy to have made new friends. Ardis, Marlon, Mike, Nini and Joms, along with the Emerson family. Luv ya Chris! :) We've decided to keep the volleyball spirit alive even after the sportsfest.
