Finally, today is the first chance that I got to access my blog whilst here in Boracay.
I arrived last Thursday afternoon with Aileen and met up with Meng @ Station 3. The sun was scorching and barely felt the breeze. Yet, it was all good as I finally got to go on a vacation to a place that has been very dear to my heart.
This trip was threatened of not pushing through as I initially thought that there wasn't anyone going with me. I figured that flying to Boracay alone could be a different experience as it left me a chance to test the waters.
Fortunately, Aileen decided to tag along and so did Meng at the last minute. I was also psyched that Clyde was going as well. Although, it was more of a working visit for him.
I got to hang out with Alvin and his beau Oli. Such a moment made me feel somehow vulnerable. The next 2 evenings brought heavy downpour that somehow dampened the festive spirit. Although it was also an opportunity to just simply rest.
Last night we had dinner @ Le Soliel. It was simply divine, typical Sunday evening with the Sunday group, only this time it was a Boracay...though there were only 3 of us.

Today is our last full day here. I'm both happy and sad. Happy because I finally got to go again this year, 2008. Sad, because it is coming to an end. As Nelly Furtado's song goes, "Why do all good things come to an end..."
A couple of things that struck me in this trip. I think I'm overlooking a possible love for someone who's been around. The possibilities may be there. We just might clique. I just don't know if I should make the move or not. What scares me though is that I might get rejected. Rejection is something I can take, but it hurts more if it comes from someone you care about.

It is amazing on how some people can be so oblivious and apathetic to change.
This world, if taken in the wrong context, can lead you to your doom. You need to have a strong sense of direction in life and defined principles to live by.
My post today is completely random. No direction. Just plain spontaneous blabber about anything under the sun...
Speaking of!!! Ang ganda ng view dito sa 36th floor ng RSC. You can see almost the entire Metropolitan Manila. It looks even more dramatic during the dusk and evening.
The temperature has been getting hotter than ever. Good thing though, that it get a bit cooler during the nights.
Last Saturday, we had our team outing at Zoobic Safari. It was a great adventure and I have to admit that it was enjoyable. Tiring, sweating and all that rolled into one. Thankfully that the entire area was surrounded by lush greens. That gave us breathable air with a gentle breeze to ease the scorching heat.

Truly, she is one of the prettiest faces on this planet.
My vacation is 23 days away and I am stoked. This afternoon, Thina accompanied me to Air Philippines to get my return flight tickets via Caticlan. So Boracay 2008 will be happening after months of planning and useless anxiety.
The confirmed peeps are Me, Aileen and Clyde. Meng and Benz are still on 50/50 depending on whether their office VL ban would push through or not.
From there, somehow I'm thankful that I've moved on to a different company. It somehow gave me an easier control with my leaves.

Tomorrow marks my first day with the CM team. I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing their issues and add my inputs to help address them.
I'm hoping that they (both clients and associates) would be open and receptive to my ideas, and open to ways in improving their performance.
