The Beach 2006Indeed all good things come to an end, but Boracay 2006 was an opener for more future possibilities.I arrived at Bora last 19th and time moved slowly whilst I was there. I did get the chance to exchange pleasantries with really good looking strangers. :) Now I've proven that Trisha's ability to meet new friends all depends on how one smiles. The smile is a very powerful weapon as it disarms the other person's defences.Jay, Nina, Florence, Charmaine and Benneth were the people that made up this year's The Beach 2006. Breakfast at CNN Café (best Rosti we've ever had! thanks to Chef Pascal!) The traditional english breakfast at English bakery. The ever reliable food at Shanghai Restaurant. The great food, but not so good service of Liebevoll. The very tasty and nutritious meals of Corrine's Place and sumptuous Gyros of Cyma. Grill buffet at Le Soleil was soooooooo engaging. The drinks at Sailor's bar and their really friendly servers. Of course, who would forget the unforgettable shakes of Jonah's. The best ever to beat the summer heat.Thanks to Tutay for getting us fucking plastered (hi Lee of Birmingham, UK - he loves that expression!) with the endless supply of cocktails and beer at Summer Place during the 103.5 KLite event. Until the next time Tutay!!! See ya soon!Lots of celebs were there too, but I'm still drawn towards the gorgeous men who were non-celebs.This trip/vacation/boy-watching event was definitely something we'd go through again next Summer or prolly in October. Boracay 2006!Alas! I'm here at Boracay and YES! It is a great sigh of relief from all of the hustles and bustles of urban living. I've been looking forward for this time odd and I did get what I had worked and hoped for.I got here yesterday and I did manage to catch up on rest and a little time on my own watching english guys allure me to their cobwebs. LMAO! but yeah, I don't know what it is that english guys got, but prolly its the accent minus the teeth, that fascinates me. They smoke, they drink, they cuss and get quite passionate over things... my kind of guys.****************I've been listening to the CD I burned before I left, and it is quite good mix actually. Good Friday 2006
The city was almost dead. The streets were so desolate that you could literally do a cartwheel without fear of being ran over by a truck or bus. The heat of the sun is so scorching that it could literally make you sweat without the hassle of being in a sauna. Good Friday it is. Not much public places to eat as everything is closed. Only the usual fast food chains namely Chowking, Jollibee, Wendy's and McD's were open. I still have work today and I'm not sure if I sure come to work wearing flip flops. Summer is soooo hot this year. I can't wait to hit the beach. 5 more days to go before Boracay!!! Woohoo!!! And I've got this really nice hat that's waiting to be used! Ciao for now!

Why?
On my way to work today, I was contemplating on how life has becoming a mixture of sorts. Happy, sad, ups, downs, miseries and blessings. I am thankful of how things have turned out to be. Sure, things can get pretty hectic and worked up, but still everything falls into its proper place.
So whilst waiting for the light to turn green, I was peering out the window and saw a mum and child sleeping on the pavement. Actually, the mother was sleeping whilst the li'l child wailed on. I'm pretty sure that the mum hears her child's plea, but she can't do anything about it. It breaks my heart to see this kind of suffering especially for a child. How painfully unkind it is for these children to feel the brunt of all miseries and deprivation. I wanted to hand out something to them, but something held me back. Was I being selfish to refuse in giving out what I had? I felt like if I gave it to them, it would end the child's plea for now, yet it doesn't solve the problem. It feels heavy to have that kind of burden knowing I should've done something, yet done nothing at all. The season of Lent indeed has its way of squirming into my head and be thankful for everything that I have and don't have.

Fate indeed can be very cruel. However, we are the ones that weave our destiny. What we make of early in our lives pave the path to where one is headed. All I can say is Life is hard. Strive hard to achieve our dreams and we will get through.

CountdownThe countdown hath begun. Our trip is drawing closer and closer. 14 days to go and soon the sand, sun and sea will only be a few steps away.At times whilst I'm on my way home or when I'm on my way to work, I can always imagine myself being at the beach, wandering aimlessly or simply lying on the fine, white powder sand, enjoying the sky, the sun and the warm wind gently caressing me.I also see the basks of people from all walks of life lingering the summer air.Shake!!! April Fools, April's Fools*sigh* I miss my SE T610. Its been with me for the past 2-3 years, and by an unfortunate mugging incident last Monday (March 27) on my way home for Fitness First Fort.Those bloody bastards will have their day of reckoning. **************I'm so excited for Benneth! Her trip to the US is finally happening. It feel so great to help set up her itinerary. Probably, I could be a personal travel agent in the future!!!**************Sunday, I was able to get good deals from the all out sale of Adidas, Nike, New Balance and Puma at Megamall. I got the dri-fit training top for 50% off. The Adidas knee support less 30%. Unfortunately, no pretty shoes worth buying.I was also very tempted to buy a new mobile phone that same day. I saw the Motorola Razr V1150 (also known as RAZR VX). Something held me back, but I know I can buy it prolly by May. In the meantime, I need to make sure I settle my debts with Jayvee and Meng. I also need to set aside funds for the Boracay trip which is in two weeks!!!EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!Anyway, I will be getting that handset by May. I can say that I already have outfits for the beach.
