Go Live CS3

Go Live CS3!

Yes! The first week of CS3 go live was officially over. We're now facing what is called to be the biggest software launch in Adobe's history. With that at hand, the pressure is just overwhelming knowing that the staff we have are babies to the support. We're keeping a stiff upper lip and will do our best to be there for all of our people. I hope the L1s see that its not just them who are being closely watched. Its also the management.

I was quite furious last Friday on how some agents chose to not report for work with their PATHETIC reasons. I show my extreme gratitude and appreciation to those who reported for work inspite of the poignant experience they went through on the first day.

As I've told everyone, "there's no other way but to go live. it has always been a baptism by fire because the theoricatal knowledge can't be tested unless real calls are taken." It would seem that only some were brave enough to face it. It only shows that the people who stayed on will be with the team for quite sometime. That alone, makes me smile knowing that there are still some courageous people who are willing to take risks so live life and carry on.

It was an intimate movie group last night. Jhon, Jay and me met up to see the film Because I Said So. Truthfully, it was a Sunday movie that entertained us and touched the spot on motherly love and children trying to live and face life's heartbreaks on their own.

Never mind Mandy Moore. Diane Keaton was the usual mum that was heavily involved in her children's affairs. The most remarkable character was Johnny played by Gabriel Macht. He was just dreamy. Those strong eyes that pierced through one's soul was definitely to die for. His character was that of a single father branded as a stereotypical heartbreaker. He ended up being the real one Mandy was looking for. Since this was a feel good movie, the ending was all in the right place much like the movie The Family Stone. Nevertheless, I loved this movie and Gabriel. He now has a special place for me.
